Brief History :
St.Xaviers School, a campaigner of education, through English medium in the whole of Ballia District, owes its extraordinary peculiarity and popularity to the founder Mr.S.Bhushan, the Chairman of St.Xaviers Educational Society, Salempur, Deoria (U.P.). It was established on 15th February, 1993 in a Hindi heartland to fabulously thrive English studies under CBSE Syllabus with a view and objective of awakening the intellects of students and propagating quality education to all.
The school is situated about six km. away from Ballia town on the main road leading to Gorakhpur, spread over 15 acres of land. The school building is a huge structure with over 20 large halls and more than 100 big classrooms. In addition, extremely well equipped laboratories are a center of attraction to all visitors to the school. Separate labs for Languages, Chemistry, Physics, Biology and Mathematics are provided for the children to learn in a scientific and planned manner.
Its foundation stone has been laid down by His Excellency Prof.Vishnukant Shastri, the Governor of U.P. on 10th June, 2001. Moreover, the new building has also been inaugurated by His Highness Bhairon Singh Shekhawat, Hon'ble Vice-Preident of India in presence of Hon'ble Chandra Shekharji, the former Prime Minister of India with many other high dignitaries on 23rd March, 2003.
The most appealing aspect of the school is its immaculately manicured lush green lawns, with a spectrum of colourful flowers, which adds to the ambience of the school building. The aesthetically done up landscaping of the garden adds to the exquisiteness of the school.
